NEON MOON RELEASES OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR “IF I KNEW”

Nashville, TN (May 22, 2017) – Country/Folk songwriting music duo Neon Moon just released the official video for their current single, “If I Knew.”  You can watch it HERE!

The catchy “throwback country” tune is sure to tug on the heartstrings of those who have ever been in love. With lyrics like “If I knew what was good for me, I’d just make you leave, pack your bags and leave them by the door.  I’d never let you speak, talk your way back to me, if I knew what was good for me,” the song relates to an addicting on-again-off-again relationship that just won’t quit. You can download “If I Knew” HERE!

After playing and writing together for many years, Noelle and Josh decided to take the plunge and form Neon Moon, following the success of their YouTube project Our52Songs. Unable to stay married to only one genre of music, Neon Moon gives polygamy a shot.  Currently dabbling in Classic Country, Folk and Americana, the dynamic Nashville based duo has created their own genre – calling it “Twangy Americana.” Neon Moon is set to release their debut six-song album, entitled “6:53,” in late June 2017.

As of right now, Neon Moon is just a new life form trying to figure out how to exist in the ever revolving musical world we live in and we hope you’ll take the journey with them.

KELCY HYDE RELEASES NEW SINGLE

Nashville, TN (April 24, 2017) – Singer/songwriter and country sweetheart Kelcy Hyde recently released her latest single, “Hell or High Water,” to iTunes. With lyrics like “And even if life breaks our hearts and our bones, I’ll love you and never let go, come Hell or high water,” the enchanting ballad is sure to hit the hearts of many.  You can download the song HERE!

“I’ve always wanted to write a love song for the people who don’t give up – against all odds,” Hyde explains. I truly believe that if you love someone, and they love you, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.  When I met Lori Kelley (co-writer) and told her that I wanted to write a song with the title Hell or High Water, she loved the idea as much as I did.”

“The young artist, whose dream is to duet with George Strait, won’t stop until she achieves her goals. The title of her new song makes that perfectly clear,” says Donna Block of CMchat.

Every great artist has a story; one of determination and prowess that guides them on a journey to find fame and success. Kelcy Hyde’s story started when she was a young girl growing up in Las Vegas with a passion for music, undeniable talent and a one-track mind to follow her dreams.

Kelcy was not your ordinary teenager. Instead of finding her perfect dress to wear to prom or attending high school parties, Kelcy spent her nights and weekends cultivating her talent and studying country music. At 16 years old, Kelcy fulfilled a promise to her parents and graduated high school two years early. In return, her family relocated to Nashville in full support of Kelcy and her resilient pursuit to become a country artist.

Since moving to Music City, Kelcy has performed on the historic stages of 12th & Porter, The Basement and the Bluebird Cafe, which previously helped launch the careers of famed artists Taylor SwiftGarth Brooks and Kings of Leon. Kelcy has also shared the stage with Trace AdkinsDarryl WorleyGretchen WilsonBig & RichCowboy Troy and The Farm during their worldwide tours.

Kelcy dropped her first EP entitled “Your Heart Amazes Me” with an electric performance and release party in Nashville. The album, which contains five Country Rock songs, has received rave reviews across the internet.

Kelcy continues to chase her dream of one day performing at The Ryman Auditorium. “Quitting is just not a option.”

THE HOBBS SISTERS WIN “NASHVILLE RISING STAR” COMPETITION

Nashville, TN (March 20, 2017) – Country music duo, The Hobbs Sisters, were recently crowned the winners of Nashville Rising Star – a highly competitive open-mic songwriting competition.  After winning over the hearts of both the audience and industry judges in the preliminary rounds, Lauren and Hannah Hobbs ultimately won the Series 8 of the competition with their original song, “Boomerang.”  You can download it HERE!

The catchy, upbeat tune features relatable lyrics, such as “it’s like a boomerang thrown that you hope comes back, let’s prove that opposites attract, we’re fire and ice sitting down at a table, it’s bound to be just a little unstable.”  The single is definitely a memorable one that will surely be running through your head all day!

“When we started writing the song, it had a negative meaning – like a bad love you keep coming back to.  Then, we began to think about how even when people are opposites, if you are meant to be together, your love will always come back to you…like a boomerang!”

Growing up in Peters Township, Pennsylvania, twin sisters Lauren and Hannah Hobbs grew up singing both around the house and in their church choir.  They were bitten by the songwriting bug while in high school and have continued writing music ever since.  “Our songs have been inspired by all kinds of ideas and people,” Lauren reflects.  “We’ve written songs about our own relationships, our family, titles from books and even random words or phrases that people have said.”  Hannah adds, “It’s so much fun to see how songs evolve into the final versions.”

Inspired by country music stars Martina McBrideMiranda LambertMaren Morris and Little Big Town, The Hobbs Sisters combine their big voices and melodic harmonies with their high energy performances on stage.  “We think that our sound as a duo makes us unique.  Our main focus has always been adding creative and different harmonies to the songs we sing and the songs we write.”

The Hobbs Sisters have already achieved great success in their young career.  They’ve had the opportunity to open for some of the biggest names in country music, including Lady AntebellumAaron TippinBrett Eldredge and The Swon Brothers.  After graduating from Wake Forest University in 2014, they shared the stage with Jana KramerMaddie and TaeCassadee Popeand RaeLynn as part of Y108’s Girls with Guitars concert.  In 2016, they released their latest EP, Love Hangover, which contains five original songs co-written by the sisters.

Lauren and Hannah now call Nashville, Tennessee their home and continue to write and play music all across the country.  They continue to keep their humble, positive attitudes and look forward to what their future brings.  “Our favorite part of being in Nashville has been the countless opportunities to learn from other writers.  There is always so much to learn from working and interacting with others in the music industry.”
