Country Sensation Emily Myers Unveils Bold New Single “Olives”

Nashville, TN (March 1, 2024) – Rising country star Emily Myers is ready to shake up the music scene with her latest release, “Olives.” This electrifying single not only marks a shift in musical style for Myers, but also serves as a powerful anthem of self-empowerment and resilience. In “Olives,” Myers fearlessly confronts the toxic influences in her life with a boldness that is as refreshing as it is infectious.

Reflecting on her personal journey, Myers shares, “As someone who grew up as a chronic people pleaser, I had to learn how to walk away from toxic people and situations. ‘Olives’ represents not only a new sound for me, but also a new attitude and determination to stand up for myself when someone isn’t treating me right.”

With its catchy lyrics and sassy attitude, “Olives” is more than just a song — it’s a rallying cry for anyone who refuses to settle for less than they deserve. Myers explains, “The main hook of the song, ’skip the branch, pass the olives,’ is a clever way to say to someone that you are not going to continue accepting their bad behavior.”

This spirited track not only showcases Myers’ undeniable talent as a singer and songwriter, but also highlights her commitment to uplifting her listeners. “As an artist, I want to make music that encourages people to run after the life they truly want,” Myers affirms. “‘Olives’ is a song that reminds me to never settle for less and I hope it does the same for anyone else who needs it.”

POP STAR CASSANDRA PROVES SHE’S THE “QUEEN OF EVERY NIGHT” WITH NEW CLASSICAL CROSSOVER HIT

Nashville, TN (January 5, 2024) – Nashille-based pop singer/songwriter and reigning Miss Music CityCassandra, recently released her new “Popera” single called “Queen of Every Night.” You can listen to the song HERE!

“Popera” is a new genre, blending opera and pop music together to create a new experience of music – by sampling opera arias, layering them on pop tracks, and writing and recording a pop song over the top of that track – that appeals to mainstream listeners.

With alluring lyrics like ’cause the way my hair flips when the bass hits wraps you up like diamonds in my necklace, “Queen of Every Night” took inspiration from classical pieces like the “Queen of the Night” aria from Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” and Pachelbel’s Cannon in D, as well as pop elements from today’s hitmakers like Taylor SwiftAriana Grande and Billie Eilish.

“Research has shown that Gen Z listens to significantly less classical music than older generations,” Cassandra explains. “In a world where pop music has been booming and the classical world seems to be ever-fading, a change was necessary. Popera has the ability to change the music world as we know it!”
In addition to releasing new music, Cassandra is currently singing with the Nashville Operaas a soprano ensemble member in Mozart’s “The Magic Flute.” She is also a lead soprano in Nashville Opera’s Opera on Wheels program.

About Cassandra:
Born in Rockville, MD, Cassandra (Pinataro) began singing as soon as she could speak. She grew up in Duluth, GA before moving to Binghamton, NY for middle school and high school. Her family now resides in Atlanta, GA. “Every city I’ve lived in has taught me something about myself and the world around me,” she explains. “Although it was difficult to move often, I’m grateful for the memories I have made and the lessons I have learned in each place.”

In high school, Cassandra began to dabble with her songwriting skills, composing several pop songs but never releasing them. It wasn’t until the Coronavirus pandemic hit the U.S. in 2020 that she found what she loved most about the creative process of music. She started writing and co-writing pop music and began recording soon after.

As a trained opera singer, Cassandra has a vast vocal range that spans over four octaves. She has a fierce sound, with the ability to seamlessly weave in and out of tricky vocal runs that would trip up most singers.  As an artist, her goal is to never treat two songs the same, thus developing a new sound for each one.

Cassandra graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice Performance. In late 2023, she graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Masters in Music Business and a 4.0 GPA. Her 35-page thesis paper revolved around the concept of “Popera” music.

Cassandra was also a finalist in the 2023 John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

With a combined total almost 500K streams on Spotify, Cassandra uses her talent to spread encouraging messages through her music.

COUNTRY ARTIST CAMILLE HARRISON RELEASES COVER OF “O COME, O COME, EMMANUEL”

Nashville, TN (December 1, 2023) – Country music singer/songwriter and recording artist Camille Harrison recently released her cover of “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.” You can listen to the holiday tune HERE!

O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, a Christian hymn for Advent and Christmas, is one I’ve wanted to record for years,” Camille shares. “This hymn has its origins over 1,200 years ago in monastic life. When developing this arrangement and looking at the lyrics, it was begging to give voice to those hurting or suffering and I have hopefully expressed that in the musical interludes between each verse…

For a new approach to this piece, I chose a descending chromatic chord progression for the last two verses, which seemed to work well along with ending on a Picardy third – turning from a minor to a major key.  And, of course, singing the lead and background vocals were a joy. The contributions of musicians and engineers were incredible and I am thrilled to share my rendition of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.”
The single, released on December 1, 2023, is already receiving rave reviews from press and listeners alike:

“Camille’s stunning delivery of ‘O Come O Come Emmanuel,’ with her classy vibrato echoing off the cello’s strings, is the soothing sound we need this season. The recording builds wonderfully with piano, harmonies, and showcases Camille’s vocal range, never overdone, but used sparingly for storytelling emphasis on this fine new interpretation of the mid-1800s composition.”
Warren Kurtz (Goldmine)

“Camille has such a beautiful vocal tone and this song was the perfect choice for her.”
Music City Melodies

“O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” is Camille’s most recent Christmas single, following the release of her 2021 album “Christmas with You.”

Track Listing:
1. Christmas Dreams Come True
2. Jesus, The Good Shepherd
3. Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming, O Little Town of Bethlehem
4. Christmas with You in My Heart
5. The Holly and The Ivy
6. What Child Is This
7. Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella
8. Christmas Dreams Come True, O Come All Ye Faithful (Reprise)

About Camille Harrison:
Camille Harrison, an American singer songwriter, pianist, guitarist, engineer, and producer, was born in the home of country music capital, Nashville, Tennessee, and has spent a time in the musical melting mecca, Memphis, Tennessee. Her gift for singing was discovered early on while she was singing on country music jamborees (produced by her father) following her early childhood years of singing church and classical pieces with her mother (a classical pianist).

Before the age of 20, Harrison’s professional career was on a fast-track; performing at Mid-South Concerts, Memphis Country Jubilee, Millington Navy Base, the Orpheum, Mid-South Coliseum, Beale Street nightspots, Liberty Land Theme Park Land and Opryland Theme Park, headliner in the Memphis Symphony Orchestra’s Sunset Symphony and Memphis in May festivals for three consecutive years and touring throughout Europe. Camille has also enjoyed opening shows for many of her heroes, including Hank Williams, Jr., Conway Twitty, Dottie West, Dolly Parton, Vern Gosdin and Tom T. Hall, and landing leading roles such as Mabel in Pirates of Penzance gave her a deep admiration for a plethora of genres of music.

With her love music encouraged by her mother and father, various opportunities came very quickly for her. Along with listening to her favorites, DollyStreisandSinatraOliviaEllaHank Jr., Lily Pons and Ricki Lee Jones in her early years, her studies gave her wide range of musical styles and a nice platform for her songwriting as she wrote for different publishers and then for releasing independent records of her own; The Big ParadeThe Jelly Bean JarWhen it Comes to Love, and others. Camille has also sung on other recordings, such as Prince of Egypt soundtrack, “One Road Man” by Chris LeDoux, and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones’ first album.

A lover of all things Christmas, Camille uses her gift of music to encourage and uplift people during the holiday season. She released her newest single, “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” on December 1, 2023.
