Nashville, TN (January 4, 2017) – Anchor Publicity has partnered with the Nashville Rising Star songwriter open-mic contest to find the next best songwriter Nashville has to offer. In addition to several other prizes, the grand prize winner will be awarded $500 worth of services from Anchor Publicity.
Series 8 of the competition will begin on January 11, 2017 at 8:00 P.M. at The Whiskey Room Live and will be held every Wednesday night through March 8, 2017. Each round will feature up to 21 aspiring songwriters, of all genres, that will perform one original song in front of a panel of industry judges. A grand prize winner will be chosen after both the judges’ and the audience’s votes are combined.
