KARLIE BARTHOLOMEW RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE

Nashville, TN (October 29, 2021) – Americana singer/songwriter Karlie Bartholomew recently released her debut single called “Brooklyn Park.” You can listen to the song HERE!

With picturesque lyrics like on the corner lives an old woman in a house dressed in weeds, her eyes peek out behind the blinds and, like me, she’s scared to leave, listeners are sure to fall in love with Karlie’s unique storytelling.

“Brooklyn Park is my hometown and where I grew up,” Karlie explains. “My father built our house brick by brick and the pine tree stood outside of my sister’s bedroom window. It’s a song about how hard it is to leave home and start a new life away from all you’ve ever known. The line if only I could find a way to start somewhere new inspired the title of my upcoming EP called A Way to Start. Brooklyn Park is the first single off of the EP to be released.”

About Karlie Bartholomew:
Born and raised in Brooklyn Park, Maryland, Karlie Bartholomew has always had a passion for music. While shy as a child, Karlie was able to use music to find her voice. She started writing her own songs at a young age, participating in every talent show she could beginning in elementary school.

Following in her father’s musical footsteps, Karlie taught herself to play guitar on his old six-string while she was in high school. Heavily influenced by artists like Ingrid Michaelson, Norah Jones and Sara Bareilles, Karlie is drawn to authenticity and strives to keep her lyrics honest. “My songs focus on storytelling, hoping the listener can see themselves in my music,” she explains. Her smooth voice, jazzy chord progressions and folk-inspired lyrics will silence any room.

Before moving to Boston, Karlie performed at notable Maryland venues like Rams Head Live!Baltimore SoundstageThe 9:30 Club (Washington D.C.), DC9 (Washington D.C.), The Ottobar and 49 West Coffeehouse & Gallery.

While attending Berklee College of Music in 2017, she was chosen as a featured soloist to honor Lucinda Williams at the school’s commencement concert. Karlie sang for an entire arena filled with seven thousand people, including Lucinda herself, Lionel Richie, Todd Rundgren and Neil Portnow. Karlie graduated the next day with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Music, focusing in Contemporary Writing/Production and Performance.

Now living in Nashville, Tennessee, Karlie is currently working on her latest project – her debut EP. You can catch her performing at local Nashville and Franklin, TN music venues, such as NashHouse Spoon & Saloon, Alley Taps, Belcourt Taps and Gray’s on Main.

SAM VARGA’S NEW SINGLE “FALL DOWN” GOES VIRAL ON TIKTOK

Nashville, TN (September 23, 2021) – Alternative/Rock artist Sam Varga just released his new single “Fall Down” to all streaming platforms. You can listen HERE!

“Fall Down” is the first original single from Sam Varga that displays his shift back to his Rock/Emo roots. It was written by Sam, singer/songwriter/girlfriend Kalie Shorr and William Stone. The song was produced by Dan Swank (All Time Low) in Nashville TN.

With classic Emo lyrics like this happy feels so lonely, I wish someone had told me, that I’d fall down, Sam’s song, sung to the tune of “Ring Around the Rosie,” has quickly become a favorite amongst fans.

“Fall Down” began going viral on TikTok on September 18th and has since received over 900K views on the platform. His previously released cover of Olivia Rodrigo‘s “Good 4 You” currently has over 650K streams on Spotify.

“The first music I found for myself and really identified with was the Emo scene of the early 2000s,” Sam explains. “It was saying something completely different than what was on the radio and a lot more dynamic. That influence is always apparent in my music and I tried to shake a lot of that when I first moved to Nashville because my goal at the time was to get cuts. After a year or two of that I got bored and started releasing my own music. It only took awhile to find my way right back. Fall Down is a song about pushing it too far, putting bandaids on bullet holes, and waking up in the middle of all of it.”

About Sam Varga:
With just three short years in Nashville, Sam has already established himself as serious writer and dynamic performer. Coming up in the fast-paced punk scenes of his high school days and the Blues of Austin TX, there is an edge and energy that makes his songs stand out in Music City. He has quickly come up through the writing ranks and can frequently be seen playing staples in town such as Whiskey Jam, Buscall, and The Listening Room. His first year in Nashville saw the release of his debut single “Sex & Whiskey” and the release of his EP “Light Me Up”.

You can follow Sam on Instagram, FacebookTikTok and Spotify.

With inspiring lyrics like you got one-in-a-million shot in the dark at anybody knowing who you are, so keep the faith and sing your songs, wait your turn, no matter how long, “Neon Nobody” reminds us to keep following our dreams.

Neon Nobody is about my journey coming to Nashville,” Allison explains. “I was once a small town somebody and now I’m a neon nobody. BUT, just because I’m a neon nobody doesn’t mean I won’t become a somebody! It takes time in this town. With perseverance, I know this dream will become a full reality.”

About Allison Asarch:
Growing up in Houston, Texas, Allison Asarch discovered her love for music at a young age. As a child, she would perform at her grandparents’ annual Christmas talent show, but it wasn’t until she reached 4th grade that she knew she wanted to make a career out of it. “My music teacher, Ms. Teagarden, had everyone singing and smiling…including the boys! I loved the joy music brought to me and everyone else.”

Raised on powerhouse vocalists like Tina TurnerShania Twain and Freddie Mercury, Allison began cultivating her own unique sound while attending Otterbein University’s School of Music in Westerville, Ohio. It was there that she began teaching herself how to play the guitar, while also taking piano lessons during her freshman and sophomore years. She was also a member of the school’s choir, training in classical opera and traveling to Ireland and Germany to perform.

In 2018, Allison moved to Nashville, Tennessee to start chasing her dreams. When the Coronavirus pandemic hit in early 2020, she seized the opportunity to start recording and releasing her own music. Heavily influenced by Taylor Swift, Allison combines country, pop and jazz elements in her songs. In September 2020, she released her first single called Taylor Made. That same month, she appeared on the Netflix Original show “Sing On!” where she took first place and won over $42,000. She followed up with her second single, The One, in November and released Sippin’ on Somethin’ in February of 2021. Her most recent singles, Summer Style, Cotton Dress, and Midnight Daydream are now available on all streaming platforms.

An advocate for female empowerment, Allison is building her team around talented women. “I know there are wonderfully accomplished women who play instruments, sing backup vocals, produce and create. I want to help shine a light on those women and organizations the best I can!”

In her spare time, Allison enjoys fostering dogs, attending Nashville Predators hockey games and sampling craft beers at local breweries.
