ZACH CORNELL RELEASES NEW SINGLE “STAY AWHILE”

Nashville, TN (March 4, 2022) – Country music singer/songwriter Zach Cornell recently released his new single “Stay Awhile.” You can listen to it HERE!

With playful lyrics like I know that you’re lonesome and you know that I am too, so what do you say you make some room for me and you, “Stay Awhile” is sure to be a hit amongst listeners.

“I’m so excited for folks to hear what I’ve been working on,” Zach explains. “Stay Awhile hits real close to home for me and reminds me of some of the best times I’ve ever had. I hope it hits that same feeling for everyone that hears it. I think this is the first release that I am truly proud of and I’d throw it in the ring with just about anything. This song alone offers just a small glimpse into how far I’ve come as an artist through my first few years in Nashville, and I believe this is just the beginning. I sure hope y’all stick along for the ride, because it’s going to be fun.”

About Zach Cornell:
Zach Cornell comes from a little speed trap town in the Texas Panhandle, and he’s been using that down-home upbringing to write his own brand of country music ever since.  After moving off for college in 2014, what started as something to kill time grew into a passion that he couldn’t let go. Zach played local shows around North Texas while halfway going through school and tending bar in local restaurants.

In 2018, Zach set off for Nashville, Tennessee to work full-time as a musician and songwriter. “Nashville just seemed like the next logical step. I grew up in a Texas town of just under 2,000 people, and it definitely played a big role in the songs I listened to and the stories I eventually began to tell through my own songs. But, I knew at some point I’d have to head to Music City and see if I could hang in there with the pros.”

When Cornell isn’t on the road, he can be found in Nashville playing local venues across the city and co-writing with other local artists. His first full-length studio album, titled Devil’s Been Working, hit the airwaves in November 2020. In late 2021, Zach took some brand new songs to Jack Gavin and Kevin Willis at Rising Sun Studios in Old Hickory, TN. His newest single “Stay Awhile” was released on March 4, 2022.

ALEXES HARDT RELEASES NEW SINGLE “JOKE”

Nashville, TN (March 3, 2022) – Nashville based Alternative Pop artist Alexes Hardt recently released her new single “Joke.” Click HERE to listen!

With dire lyrics like frozen to the bone, I’m choking, now I can’t let go, Alexes uses her unique artistry to turn an unfortunate story about emotional abuse into a catchy track.

“I would love for fans to listen to this song and feel empowered,” Alexes explains. “Although its about a toxic relationship, it’s more about coming out of denial and accepting the relationship for what it is. It’s about taking your power back.”

About Alexes Hardt:
Nashville hasn’t heard an artist quite like Alexes Hardt. The twenty-six year old Florida native has written bits and pieces of lyrics ever since she was a child. Drawing influences from the direction of modern hits, her production favors the trap drums that have populated rap music but the electronic sounds that have given posters edge to their latest works. Alexes balances these elements with lighter undertones to create atmospheric indie pop that feels like Banks or Fletcher, but with a bite to it like a Travis Scott record. With this unique take on the production, this allows Alexes to flourish with her vocals; a smooth mezzo-soprano ranges that finds the sweet spot to carry the higher and lower notes in her records. Now based in the epicenter of country music, she offers the south a genre of music often replicated but hardly perfected in the best possible way with authentic storytelling that makes you want to get up and dance one second before wanting to key your ex’s car the next. Alexes Hardt is ready to show the world what she has been holding back for oh so long!

You can connect with Alexes on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

COUNTRY DUO, WESTER, RINGS IN THE NEW YEAR WITH “ROOFTOP PARTY”

Nashville, TN (December 31, 2021) – It’s time to ring in the new year Nashville Style! Country music recording artists and dynamic sibling duo Wester recently released their second single Rooftop Party – a high energy, contagious song that everyone is invited to sing along to. You can listen to the song HERE!

With rowdy lyrics like I maxed out my credit card, don’t know how or why, a couple tattoos and a bunch of uber rides, “Rooftop Party” is the perfect song to blast while celebrating with friends.

“This is a wild story but it’s the truth,” Pearl Clarkin explains. “Rafe and I are here in Nashville working on a music career and going to college. Nashville has a scene that you will not find going on anywhere else. Last Saturday night, Rafe and I were in the car going on a late Chick-fil-A dinner run and we got a call from a famous producer who works in LA and Nashville. He said Pearlie the party is at Aldean’s Rooftop tonight. Come on down and text me. I’ll have security bring you up. It was me, Rafe, the producer and the world’s most famous singer in the middle of about 20 people, who have flown to Nashville from all over the world to be at this rooftop party. This goes on every weekend on Broadway – it’s fun and it’s wild, so Rafe wrote a song about it. One day I will write a book and tell my stories. But for now our song names no names.”

“The thing about writing a song is you can tell the story of what’s happening,” Rafe Wester continues. “What’s happening now is the Nashville scene – its changing and evolving with a new generation. When Hank Williams wrote Jumbalaya, it was about the country party scene of his day. You can still listen to his song and catch the vibe. I wrote Rooftop Partyso I could share what the move is going into 2022. If we’re lucky, this is how we spend our Saturday nights. But, you have to have an invite. Our song Rooftop Party is everyone’s invite to this party. Come on up!”

About Wester:
Rafe Wester grew up with an uncanny resemblance to Randy Travis. People would ask, Do you sing country music?

Pearl Clarkin has been singing and writing songs since childhood. At age 12, she was recruited by American Idol for its training camp. By 14, she had been named one of the top unsigned artists in the country by CMT. The invitations to come sing in Nashville came streaming in and by 16, Pearl was traveling on weekends to sing at a Hard Rock Cafe Nashville for a weekly showcase. By the time Pearl enrolled at Belmont University, the whole family decided to move from Pensacola Beach to Nashville.

Pearl knew Rafe had a beautiful bass voice, so when he was 15 she signed him up to sing at church. But, while Pearl put her music before everything, Rafe always seemed to have something else to do. When Rafe turned 18, he officially got bitten by the “music bug” and also began studying at Belmont University.

When the Covid-19 pandemic hit and the two siblings found themselves in the house together 24/7, Pearl taught Rafe how to play the guitar. They began to write songs about the wild and crazy Nashville scene, North Florida, alligators, crawfish boils, the beach, and the farm. A year later when the restrictions were lifted, they took their 40 songs and toured the country, singing over 50 shows in 2021.

In August 2021 Wester released their first single called “Redneck Rollercoaster” – a song dedicated to fun times singing on Lower Broadway in Nashville. The following November, they released their cover of the Christmas hit “Jingle Bell Rock,” which received more than 11,000 views on YouTube.

Look for a very big 2022 as these two kids plan to release four more songs and sing another 50 gigs around the country and who knows what else. The energy and enthusiasm is on full blast. Wester is off to a great start!

You can follow Wester on Instagram and Facebook.

DANGO ROSE RELEASES NEW EP “THE FORGOTTEN YEARS: VOL. II”

Nashville, TN (December 3, 2021) – Singer/songwriter and co-founder of Elephant Revival, Dango Rose, recently released his new five-song EP The Forgotten Years: Vol II. You can listen to the album HERE!

The Forgotten Years: Vol. II is the second release from Rose’s The Forgotten Years EP Trilogy. This volume highlights a more experimental phase with deeper subject matter, into a style Rose calls “Steam Pop” – a hybrid of Pop, Folk, Roots and subtle electronic motifs. The Forgotten Years: Vol I was previously released in October 2021.

The three-volume release consists of songs that the Elephant Revival bassist wrote and recorded between 2008-2018 whilst in-between tours. Together with his longtime songwriting and production partner, Evan Reeves, co-collaboration in the studio offered a reprieve from his hectic life in a busy touring band. When the band went on indefinite hiatus in 2018, the stillness and loss of identity was unexpected, yet palpable. So began a healing journey where recalling and releasing these recordings became essential in redefining Rose’s sense of place and purpose in the world.

“Songwriting for me has always been a vessel for processing work,” Rose explains. “I believe these songs are somehow an expression of this undertaking, an expression of healing. The Forgotten Years: Vol. II is a departure from anything you’ve heard from me before.”

The Forgotten Years: Volume III is expected to be released in winter 2022.

About Dango Rose:
Dango Rose embraces a passion for music as a vital healing influence and spiritual path. He creates and collaborates to support harmony and truth. Born with a poet’s soul and a warrior’s heart, his life’s journey has been one of transformation.

For seventeen years, Dango traveled nationally and internationally in touring bands. In 2006, he co-founded Elephant Revival and spent eleven years performing and recording with this influential outfit that pioneered the genre, “Transcendental Folk.” Rose penned band favorites such as, When I FallThe PastureJet Lag Blues and others.

Rose has shared the stage with the likes of Gregory Alan Isakov, Noah Gundersen, Watchhouse, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Oh Hellos, Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass, Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, Joan Baez, Ani DiFranco, Abigail Washburn, Donovan, Little Feat, Blind Pilot, Amy Helm, Chadwick Stokes, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Leftover Salmon, DeVotchka, John Oates, Elvis Costello, Josh Ritter, Joe Pug, Dirk Powell, Yonder Mountain String Band,  Gone Gone Beyond and many more. He was a three-time headliner at Red Rocks with Elephant Revival and performed several headlining shows with The Colorado Symphony Orchestra. In addition, he’s performed at high profile national festivals, such as Newport Folk Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and more.

Since Elephant Revival went on hiatus in May 2018, Dango has begun a solo career, focusing most of his time in the recording studio and behind the writer’s desk. As music journalist Marc Tonglen explains, “He reminds me of a cross between Leonard CohenCat Stevens and Alan Parsons. His voice is distinctive, words penetrating and his arrangements— on the edge, yet engaging.”

Dango is in the midst of releasing a collection of genre-defying EPs dubbed The Forgotten Years. From this collection, fans will hear takes and storylines that Rose has never before shared. Written while touring with Elephant Revival, yet released well thereafter, The Forgotten Years is a culmination of Dango’s seventeen year journey on the road, inviting us to see elements of his transformation from a different point of view.
