SHANNON QUINN RELEASES EDGY NEW SINGLE “HATE YOU”

Nashville, TN (April 1, 2022) – Country-Rock singer/songwriter and recording artist Shannon Quinn returns to the music scene for the first time since 2020! Her new single “Hate You” is now available on all streaming platforms and can be heard HERE!

With gut-wrenching lyrics like burned me down to the lowest wick, had to get in that last kick, and all I want to do is hate you, but it’s something I’ll never do, “Hate You” tells the story of a broken relationship, detailing all the emotions that coincide with it.

“This song was written during quarantine, a time when I think a lot of artists had time to really sit with their feelings and do their best work,” Shannon explains. “The song came to me from feelings of betrayal; I was so angry and hurt, but I couldn’t stop caring about this person. No matter what they did or the pain they inflicted upon me, I simply couldn’t hate them, no matter what I tried. I hope these lyrics and music speak to each person who listens and I hope they know that it’s okay to not have feelings of hatred for someone who hurt you.”

About Shannon Quinn:
Born and raised in the small town of Saint Thomas, Pennsylvania, Shannon Quinn found her love for music at a young age. At age 12 and inspired by Taylor Swift, Quinn began teaching herself how to play the guitar along with writing songs and taking classical voice lessons. By the time she reached high school, she had been taking classical voice lessons for 4 years, had been in over 3 productions, and started participating in local talent contests. In high school, Shannon found her love of theater landing lead and supporting roles in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Bye Bye Birdie, and Little Women. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Vocal Performance and moved to Nashville June of 2019.

As soon as she moved, she began booking rounds, recorded and released 4 singles, recorded 5 more songs with producer Paul Bennett and as of August 2021 she is one of the regular acoustic acts at AJ’s Good Time Bar on Broadway (Alan Jackson is one of her favorite artists). “Hate You” will be her newest single since May 2020.

MARTA PALOMBO RELEASES NEW SINGLE “RAINING IN PARIS”

Nashville, TN (March 25, 2022) – Folk-Pop singer/songwriter Marta Palombo recently released her new single “Raining in Paris.” You can listen to the song HERE!

With romantic lyrics like they walk by in their carefully choreographed rosy mood, wonder how many people wish they could be loved by you, “Raining in Paris” paints a beautiful picture for listeners with its descriptive lyricism.

“A few years ago, I spent a whirlwind 48 hours in Paris and packed it with as much of the city as I could possibly drink in during a single weekend,” Marta explains. “It was a lot of walking, a lot of eating, and a lot of wonder soaking in every possible building, corner, and color. The weather was perfectly sunny the whole weekend. On the very last night, as I came back to the hotel, it started to rain — and even though I had seen so many beautiful sights, Paris in the rain absolutely took my breath away. So this is my little ode to Paris, and the way she shines in the rain, written from a hotel window very late at night.”

About Marta Palombo:
If Joni Mitchell and Florence + The Machine had a 21st century hippie daughter, it would be Marta Palombo. Hailing from Florence, Italy, she found her home in Nashville, Tennessee where she spends her time writing, recording, performing, and curating a cabinet full of local teas. Marta effortlessly weaves diverse influences and genres into her own unique blend of off-kilter folk-pop.

Initially honing her wordsmithing and performance skills through poetry, Marta found nationwide recognition as Poetry Out Loud’s 2016 Georgia State Champion and National Runner-Up. After moving to Nashville, she geared her talents towards writing music full- time, releasing a steady stream of covers in English and Italian, as well as original compositions.

Marta has already made quite a name for herself in Music City, garnering a very loyal fan base. She’s played at well-known venues like Café CoCo, True Music Room & Bar, Commodore Grille, Bowery Vault, Two Old Hippies, Boulevard Records, Just Love Coffeeand Belcourt Taps. In addition, Marta has added both the Schermerhorn Symphony and Bridgestone Arena, where she sang back-up for Josh Groban, to her impressive musical resume.

Marta’s leap into the music industry began with an acoustic cover of LP’s 2015 single, “Lost On You”, soon followed by her debut extended play: 2016’s Revisions. Half personal introspection and half mission statement, the EP evokes a willingness to revel in the unknown, no matter the consequences. The single “Sparrows” followed in 2017, as well as two new songs in 2018: the soul-baring ballad titled “Bitter End” and the bubbly, optimistic “Gold.” After a short break, Marta hit the ground running in 2020 with her new EP, Him Vol. 1. The title track, “Him,” received international acclaim and won the Vox Pop Award at the 18th Independent Music Awards. As the events of 2020 came to a head, Marta spent her newfound isolation writing a breathtaking series of reflective songs titled “The Quarantine Tapes,” which she released in 2021.

Admiring her roots while eschewing the traditional notions of what a singer-songwriter should be is paramount to who Marta Palombo is as an artist. With Marta, there is always new music on the horizon. Her signature style is her ever-growing passion for telling life’s most compelling stories, both big and small.

With chilling lyrics like I ain’t wasting no more time on someone who to me has died, “Go Away Ghost” tells a haunting story about an ended relationship that is sure to resonate with listeners.

At the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, Sarah Mae went out to Tucson, Arizona where her dad had recently moved. She stayed for six months as a time of quiet and was able to record a number of songs, including “Go Away Ghost” in the true wild west.

The song was produced by Craig Schumacher at WaveLab Studios. Wavelab is a destination recording studio located in the heart of downtown Tucson, Arizona. Go Away Ghost is a powerful song for anyone who needs to get someone out of their head and heart,” Sarah Mae explains. “When Laura Rabell and I wrote this song, we talked about watching our moms work through their sadness of going through a divorce. We talked about how a relationship can haunt you for years. Letting go is easier said than done. I’ve definitely been haunted by lost love. I felt that I couldn’t get over it. I didn’t want to, no matter what anyone told me. But, then one glorious day I realized why am I wasting my energy on someone who didn’t care about me? We all have our turning point where we finally move on from somebody. This song is a revival to help let those ghosts go!”

“I wrote Don’t Stop Me with my friend Ty Openshaw prior to moving to Nashville,” Amanda explains. “Funny enough, what we wrote the song about initially revolved around a situation in his life. TRACE THOMPSON RELEASES NEW SINGLE “NO MORE”

Nashville, TN (March 11, 2022) – Country music singer/songwriter Trace Thompsonrecently released his new single “No More.” You can listen to it HERE!

With relatable lyrics like now it’s time one of us learns to say goodbye, no more maybe next time, “No More” is sure to tug on the heartstrings of listeners.
“It’s an interesting story actually,” Trace explains. “This song came about from a challenge, versus some inspirational hook that popped in my head at 3AM. I’ve been blessed to have built several relationships with artists, writers, and publishers over the years which has developed into good friendships. During a publisher meeting, my friend, Butch Baker, gave me a challenge of writing my favorite 90’s song into a modern lyric…up-tempo, of course, and with an intriguing story line that keeps the listener wondering what happens next.  I wanted to challenge myself to grow as a writer and an artist. This has proven to be an incredible experience with releases from other artists like Carrie Cunningham (“All Over Me”) and Jackson Snelling from American Idol (“Forgot I Was Forgetting”) over the past year.  It’s really solidified how much I love the art of writing and I have songs that just resonate with me personally that I want to release, too.”

About Trace Thompson:
Singer/Songwriter Trace Thompson is based out of Greenwood, IN, but travels to Nashville, TN monthly for co-writes & shows.  Trace really jumped into the artist lane in 2018 when he released his debut album Get It Right, which landed on nationally syndicated radio, as well as earning him over 30 award nominations across multiple platforms resulting in 6 different awards since the release.  Trace has performed on hundreds of stages to an audience of thousands, with over a dozen national acts including Randy Houser, Midland, Chase Rice, Dillon Carmichael, Billy Dean, Neal McCoy, Colt Ford, and Justin Moore.

ZACH CORNELL RELEASES NEW SINGLE “STAY AWHILE”

Nashville, TN (March 4, 2022) – Country music singer/songwriter Zach Cornell recently released his new single “Stay Awhile.” You can listen to it HERE!

With playful lyrics like I know that you’re lonesome and you know that I am too, so what do you say you make some room for me and you, “Stay Awhile” is sure to be a hit amongst listeners.

“I’m so excited for folks to hear what I’ve been working on,” Zach explains. “Stay Awhile hits real close to home for me and reminds me of some of the best times I’ve ever had. I hope it hits that same feeling for everyone that hears it. I think this is the first release that I am truly proud of and I’d throw it in the ring with just about anything. This song alone offers just a small glimpse into how far I’ve come as an artist through my first few years in Nashville, and I believe this is just the beginning. I sure hope y’all stick along for the ride, because it’s going to be fun.”

About Zach Cornell:
Zach Cornell comes from a little speed trap town in the Texas Panhandle, and he’s been using that down-home upbringing to write his own brand of country music ever since.  After moving off for college in 2014, what started as something to kill time grew into a passion that he couldn’t let go. Zach played local shows around North Texas while halfway going through school and tending bar in local restaurants.

In 2018, Zach set off for Nashville, Tennessee to work full-time as a musician and songwriter. “Nashville just seemed like the next logical step. I grew up in a Texas town of just under 2,000 people, and it definitely played a big role in the songs I listened to and the stories I eventually began to tell through my own songs. But, I knew at some point I’d have to head to Music City and see if I could hang in there with the pros.”

When Cornell isn’t on the road, he can be found in Nashville playing local venues across the city and co-writing with other local artists. His first full-length studio album, titled Devil’s Been Working, hit the airwaves in November 2020. In late 2021, Zach took some brand new songs to Jack Gavin and Kevin Willis at Rising Sun Studios in Old Hickory, TN. His newest single “Stay Awhile” was released on March 4, 2022.

ALEXES HARDT RELEASES NEW SINGLE “JOKE”

Nashville, TN (March 3, 2022) – Nashville based Alternative Pop artist Alexes Hardt recently released her new single “Joke.” Click HERE to listen!

With dire lyrics like frozen to the bone, I’m choking, now I can’t let go, Alexes uses her unique artistry to turn an unfortunate story about emotional abuse into a catchy track.

“I would love for fans to listen to this song and feel empowered,” Alexes explains. “Although its about a toxic relationship, it’s more about coming out of denial and accepting the relationship for what it is. It’s about taking your power back.”

About Alexes Hardt:
Nashville hasn’t heard an artist quite like Alexes Hardt. The twenty-six year old Florida native has written bits and pieces of lyrics ever since she was a child. Drawing influences from the direction of modern hits, her production favors the trap drums that have populated rap music but the electronic sounds that have given posters edge to their latest works. Alexes balances these elements with lighter undertones to create atmospheric indie pop that feels like Banks or Fletcher, but with a bite to it like a Travis Scott record. With this unique take on the production, this allows Alexes to flourish with her vocals; a smooth mezzo-soprano ranges that finds the sweet spot to carry the higher and lower notes in her records. Now based in the epicenter of country music, she offers the south a genre of music often replicated but hardly perfected in the best possible way with authentic storytelling that makes you want to get up and dance one second before wanting to key your ex’s car the next. Alexes Hardt is ready to show the world what she has been holding back for oh so long!

You can connect with Alexes on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
