JENNIFER ALVARADO RELEASES NEW SINGLE “TRIGGER WARNING”

“Trigger warnings have become popular in today’s culture to alert the reader, listener, etc. of potentially distressing material,” Jennifer explains. “It would be great if those were also available for the people you meet. This song is about someone that brought out all the negatives in me. I was constantly upset and doubting myself when they were around, but I loved them too much to let them go. SAM FERRARA RELEASES NEW SINGLE “GET OUT OF MY TOWN”

Sam Ferrara is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Long Island, NY, but has been based in Nashville, TN since 2017. Brittany Bexton grew up with Aretha Franklin, Motown, and rock and roll as the soundtracks that influenced her musical palate. She began her career as a youngster performing in hometown choirs and the theatre. Brittany studied music intently in high school and took vocal lessons with four master teachers. About Allison Asarch:
Growing up in Houston, Texas, Allison Asarch discovered her love for music at a young age. As a child, she would perform at her grandparents’ annual Christmas talent show, but it wasn’t until she reached 4th grade that she knew she wanted to make a career out of it. “My music teacher, Ms. Teagarden, had everyone singing and smiling…including the boys! I loved the joy music brought to me and everyone else.”

Raised on powerhouse vocalists like Tina Turner, Shania Twain and Freddie Mercury, Allison began cultivating her own unique sound while attending Otterbein University’s School of Music in Westerville, Ohio. It was there that she began teaching herself how to play the guitar, while also taking piano lessons during her freshman and sophomore years. She was also a member of the school’s choir, training in classical opera and traveling to Ireland and Germany to perform.

In 2018, Allison moved to Nashville, Tennessee to start chasing her dreams. When the Coronavirus pandemic hit in early 2020, she seized the opportunity to start recording and releasing her own music. “born to be happy always is written from my perspective as a musician who travels often,” Kendra explains. “I have realized many times on the road that it is for a certain type of person. It’s for the type who is up to risk it all to get that which they desire.”

Kendra’s upbeat and bubbly personality shines through her new single, with lyrics like not looking for the sun anymore, it’s been right here all around me, dropping crumbs and whispering nonchalantly.

Kendra & the Bunnies is set to release an upcoming album called of marigolds & lightning bugs this March. While in the studio finalizing the last tracks for this album, the news about Gabby Petito‘s disappearance, and subsequent murder, was on every television station. Therefore, this album has a very special place in Kendra’s heart and she will be donating a portion of the proceeds to NIWRC (National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center).
