“If you are one of the unfortunate listeners who haven’t listened to Carrie Cunningham’s latest release “Habit,” you are missing the same upbeat, charasmatic, explosive songwriting that I discovered years ago. Once you hear Carrie on this new release, you will find that she will become a habit for you – just like me.”
-Stan Fargher (Gorge Country, Y102)

Prepare to have your dopamine levels spiked with Carrie’s latest spell-binding tune. You’ve been warned…lyrics like ‘You can say I’m an addict, cause baby I’m obsessin’ will have you forming a compulsive habit of hitting replay.

Cunningham is joined on the track by an all-star lineup of musicians, including Doug Frasure on drums, Brian Allen on bass, Billy Nobel on keys, Phil Hughley on electric guitar, Scott Gerow on acoustic guitar, Brian Arrowood on fiddle, and Cunningham herself on background vocals.

The song was co-written by artist Riley Roth, whose TikTok viral hit “When God Made You My Mother” has been viewed millions of times, and writer Patrick Dodge, known for his cuts with Home Free, Brody Rivers, and Kathryn Shipley.

“I’m so excited to share ‘Habit’ with my fans,” Cunningham said. “I think the instrumentation blended perfectly to show that disco beats and country can go hand in hand. It’s a song about falling in love, and how it can become a habit that’s hard to break. I think a lot of people can relate to that feeling.”
