Nashville, TN (September 9, 2024) – Nashville-based singer/songwriter Brittany Bexton is proud to announce the release of her latest single, “Dance with the Devil,” now available on all major streaming platforms and hitting radio stations nationwide. This raw and emotional anthem channels Bexton’s personal experiences and the pain of witnessing others endure abuse, delivering a bold message of strength and the power to break free from life’s most destructive patterns.
“When I wrote this song, I was really angry at the abuse that so many people go through,” Bexton shares. “I’ve been through abuse myself, but watching someone you care about go through it is a whole other ballgame. You want to scream, ‘kick that devil to the curb, you deserve so much better!’ This song became my way of saying all the things I wanted to say but couldn’t, and it’s an anthem to encourage people to find their freedom. Even though it was inspired by breaking free abuse, I know there are a lot of other devils people dance with that they need freedom from as well.”
“Dance with the Devil” is the latest of several singles from Bexton’s upcoming album, Metamorphosis, set for release in 2025. Co-written with Lori Lovelace, the song fuses soulful melodies with powerful, heartfelt lyrics. Its standout message is captured in lines like “You can’t change someone who denies the truth, you feel the heat, but you try to play it cool, what on earth do you think you’re trying to prove, you are strong, but you’re not fireproof,” making it a compelling call for listeners to reclaim their strength.
