SAM VARGA’S NEW SINGLE “FALL DOWN” GOES VIRAL ON TIKTOK

Nashville, TN (September 23, 2021) – Alternative/Rock artist Sam Varga just released his new single “Fall Down” to all streaming platforms. You can listen HERE!

“Fall Down” is the first original single from Sam Varga that displays his shift back to his Rock/Emo roots. It was written by Sam, singer/songwriter/girlfriend Kalie Shorr and William Stone. The song was produced by Dan Swank (All Time Low) in Nashville TN.

With classic Emo lyrics like this happy feels so lonely, I wish someone had told me, that I’d fall down, Sam’s song, sung to the tune of “Ring Around the Rosie,” has quickly become a favorite amongst fans.

“Fall Down” began going viral on TikTok on September 18th and has since received over 900K views on the platform. His previously released cover of Olivia Rodrigo‘s “Good 4 You” currently has over 650K streams on Spotify.

“The first music I found for myself and really identified with was the Emo scene of the early 2000s,” Sam explains. “It was saying something completely different than what was on the radio and a lot more dynamic. That influence is always apparent in my music and I tried to shake a lot of that when I first moved to Nashville because my goal at the time was to get cuts. After a year or two of that I got bored and started releasing my own music. It only took awhile to find my way right back. Fall Down is a song about pushing it too far, putting bandaids on bullet holes, and waking up in the middle of all of it.”

About Sam Varga:
With just three short years in Nashville, Sam has already established himself as serious writer and dynamic performer. Coming up in the fast-paced punk scenes of his high school days and the Blues of Austin TX, there is an edge and energy that makes his songs stand out in Music City. He has quickly come up through the writing ranks and can frequently be seen playing staples in town such as Whiskey Jam, Buscall, and The Listening Room. His first year in Nashville saw the release of his debut single “Sex & Whiskey” and the release of his EP “Light Me Up”.

With inspiring lyrics like you got one-in-a-million shot in the dark at anybody knowing who you are, so keep the faith and sing your songs, wait your turn, no matter how long, “Neon Nobody” reminds us to keep following our dreams.

Neon Nobody is about my journey coming to Nashville,” Allison explains. “I was once a small town somebody and now I’m a neon nobody. BUT, just because I’m a neon nobody doesn’t mean I won’t become a somebody! It takes time in this town. With perseverance, I know this dream will become a full reality.”

About Allison Asarch:
Growing up in Houston, Texas, Allison Asarch discovered her love for music at a young age. As a child, she would perform at her grandparents’ annual Christmas talent show, but it wasn’t until she reached 4th grade that she knew she wanted to make a career out of it. “My music teacher, Ms. Teagarden, had everyone singing and smiling…including the boys! I loved the joy music brought to me and everyone else.”

Raised on powerhouse vocalists like Tina TurnerShania Twain and Freddie Mercury, Allison began cultivating her own unique sound while attending Otterbein University’s School of Music in Westerville, Ohio. It was there that she began teaching herself how to play the guitar, while also taking piano lessons during her freshman and sophomore years. She was also a member of the school’s choir, training in classical opera and traveling to Ireland and Germany to perform.

In 2018, Allison moved to Nashville, Tennessee to start chasing her dreams. When the Coronavirus pandemic hit in early 2020, she seized the opportunity to start recording and releasing her own music. Heavily influenced by Taylor Swift, Allison combines country, pop and jazz elements in her songs. In September 2020, she released her first single called Taylor Made. That same month, she appeared on the Netflix Original show “Sing On!” where she took first place and won over $42,000. She followed up with her second single, The One, in November and released Sippin’ on Somethin’ in February of 2021. Her most recent singles, Summer Style, Cotton Dress, and Midnight Daydream are now available on all streaming platforms.

An advocate for female empowerment, Allison is building her team around talented women. “I know there are wonderfully accomplished women who play instruments, sing backup vocals, produce and create. I want to help shine a light on those women and organizations the best I can!”

In her spare time, Allison enjoys fostering dogs, attending Nashville Predators hockey games and sampling craft beers at local breweries.

With cheeky lyrics like wouldn’t dare to make a scene, but talk about you when you leave, ’cause there’s always enough dirt to go around, when you’re the only flower shop in town, Abby’s talent for storytelling really radiates through the song.

“I wanted to write a song everyone could relate to,” Abby explains. “I knew everyone would have a place like this in their town – whether it be the nail salon, barber shop, gas station or the co-op, everyone knows of a place where they’re from that they go to for the scoop!”

About Abby Lindsey:
Abby Lindsey is a singer/songwriter born and raised in the valley of the Ozark Mountains in Van Buren, AR. Being a native of the south, she was no stranger to the good ole country classics like LeAnn RimesRandy TravisTrisha Yearwood and Jo Dee Messina, which would come to inspire her dream to be in country music.

IAN JAMES RELEASES NEW SINGLE “BY MY SIDE”

Nashville, TN (August 20, 2021) – Christian Pop singer/songwriter Ian James recently released his new single “By My Side.” You can listen to the song HERE!

With comforting lyrics like gotta lotta hopes and gotta lotta plans, gotta lotta dreams, but take my hand and I will go wherever you wanna go, “By My Side” is sure to resonate with many listeners. You can watch the official music video HERE!

By My Side was born out of a very difficult season in life, when I had just lost a job and was searching for direction,” Ian explains. “I reminisced on the serious trials I had faced in life: my birth deformity, my mother’s cancer diagnosis one week before I left for college, and my own spiral into an unhealthy party-focused lifestyle. Through all of this, I had felt a presence that encouraged me and stayed by my side, and kept me going. Whether one attributes this to God or just a presence, it was clear I was helped through these times by something greater than myself. So I wrote this song as a declaration to this realization, and as an anthem for those who truly need inspiration through extremely difficult times.”

Ian also says, “I have always been someone who has had friendships with people from all different backgrounds, regardless of faith or beliefs. I’ve always connected to all types of people and have never been sheltered into just one type of community. Sharing what I believe through my music doesn’t have to be divisive or alienate others. So my whole goal with my songs is to be that bridge between people, and I hope my lyrics speak and relate to people in all walks of life.”

About Ian James:
Ian James is a Christian Pop artist from Charleston, South Carolina, who has been featured in CCM Mag and New Release Today – the two biggest Christian music publications. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Ian began playing drums and guitar at the age of 8, performing in various school bands and ensembles. Ian decided to pursue a solo career in early 2019, realizing he wanted to share his passion for outreach and his faith through his own personal stories. He released his debut single “I Look Up” in 2019, followed by his most popular song to date, “Will for Me”, in which Ian declares his desire to follow God’s leading for his life, no matter where it takes him.

In his music and heart for others, Ian hopes to bring light to those struggling and in need of kindness and true compassion. His writing is inspired by raw, deeply personal experiences that have fully shaped who he is, and his songs undeniably reflect this message.

COUNTRY DUO WESTER RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE “REDNECK ROLLERCOASTER”

Nashville, TN (August 13, 2021) – New country music duo and brother/sister team Westerrecently released their debut single “Redneck RollerCoaster.” You can listen to the song HERE!

The rowdy, fun and up-tempo beat of this Country/Rock single will have listeners feeling like they’re at a Honky-Tonk celebration.

“When the pandemic hit last year, we were literally stuck at home,” Pearl Clarkin explains. “My younger brother, Rafe Wester, is my roommate. He has always had a unique and rich bass voice, but was too active in high school and college to sit down to write, sing and record with me. In 2020, he literally had nothing else to do – I started teaching him guitar and we began writing songs together. As the months of solitude dragged on, we released some videos of us singing together and everyone on social media loved it. The idea of brother/sister duo went over very well and industry professionals were encouraging us to release music together. This is something I have always dreamed of. Rafe and I get along so well and have so much in common.”

The duo also plans to release a lyric video for “Redneck RollerCoaster” on August 20, 2021.

About Wester:
Wester is a new brother and sister country music duo comprised of Pearl Clarkin and Rafe Wester. Born and raised on the Redneck Riviera on Pensacola Beach Florida, they pack a fun, fresh and explosive punch for the young country music audience. Pearl brings the glitter, Rafe brings the grit, and together they bring the party wherever they go. With forty shows performed around the country and forty new songs written in a year, they released their debut single “Redneck RollerCoaster” on August 13, 2021. You can follow Wester on Instagram and Facebook.

About Rafe Wester:
Rafe Wester has always been told he resembles Randy Travis. Growing up, people would ask, Do you sing? He grew up watching his sister, Pearl, perform on CMA stages in Nashville, Tennessee and witnessed the shenanigans of party-goers on Lower Broadway. Rafe didn’t discover his passion for music until he became an adult. Inspired by those same mischievous antics, Rafe, now twenty-one years old, co-wrote “Redneck RollerCoaster” with Will Rambeaux and Sherrie Austin. You can follow Rafe on TikTok.

About Pearl Clarkin:
Pearl began performing at live music venues in her hometown of Pensacola Beach, FL at the young age of twelve. Since then, she has performed over 1,200 live shows across the country, has been featured on CMT and GAC TV, and has opened up for the likes of Charlie DanielsMichael RayMontgomery GentryJake Owen and more. Pearl has played at Nashville’s famous CMA Fest during the last five years and CMTBig Machine Label Group and Cumulus Media recently named her one of the top ten unsigned artists in the country.

As an acclaimed singer/songwriter, Pearl has performed at some of Nashville’s most famous venues for original music, such as The Bluebird Cafe and The Listening Room. Her fiercely loyal fanbase, Alligator Army, enjoys following her performances across the country. Pearl serves as an advocate for equality for women in country music and also fronts the all-female band Rhinestone.

Although Pearl has years of experience in Nashville, is a Nashville Hard Rock Risingwinner and 2018 NASH NEXT regional winner (placing top 10 in the country), she wanted more. She has been searching for something new and different, but as big as classic country music with a honky tonk flair. At 6’6” and a loud and rowdy energy, Rafe brought the perfect addition to Pearl’s country music. Their voices together are as unique as only brothers and sisters can be – and thus, Wester was born.

ANNATHYST RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM “FLY AGAIN”

Nashville, TN (July 30, 2021) – Interstellar folk songstress Annathyst recently released her debut album “Fly Again.” You can listen to the eight-song album HERE!

Track Listing:
1. All Night
2. Untied
3. Mountain Skies
4. Worthy
5. Fourmile
6. White Rose
7. Fly Again
8. What if I Stay
Fly Again is a collection of songs I wrote as the culmination of a long healing journey after the loss of my younger sister, and my process of mending my broken wings to fly again,” Annathyst explains. The folk artist previously released White Rose, All Night and Mountain Skies in early 2021. All three singles received rave reviews and were featured in publications like BuzzMusic, Medium, Grubs & Grooves, Skope Magazine, Volatile Weekly and more.

About Annathyst:
Originally from a different solar system, otherwise known as the backwoods of Michigan, Annathyst has never followed a traditional approach to music. Untamed by the structure of traditional music teaching, her interest in music often coincided with singing around the campfire with her acoustic guitar. But, it wasn’t until her early 20’s that she discovered that music was actually a necessity for her survival. Annathyst’s realization unfortunately came at a cost, when having to sing at her sister’s funeral; a moment that revealed to her the healing potential of her songs, hope in the midst of devastation. Ever since, writing music has led her to connect with something bigger, often calling it an “instantaneous transmission” – where songs seem to find her through a meadow wind, or when backpacking the Colorado Trail. In late 2019 she began working with producer/artist Julian Peterson of Wolf Den Records out of Colorado. The result was a set of songs, or transmissions, that expanded upon her raw sound into more interstellar places, though still retaining the faint scent of campfire. Her newly released debut album “Fly Again” is a story of mending her broken wings after loss and learning how to fly again.

For more information, visit www.wolfdenrecords.co and follow Annathyst on Instagram and Spotify.
