EARTHY SONGSTRESS AMBER IKEMAN RELEASES NEW SINGLE “ROCKY MOUNTAINS”

Nashville, TN (November 4, 2022) – Spirited and earthy Folk-Pop songstress Amber Ikeman recently released her newest single called “Rocky Mountains.” You can listen to the song, produced by Amber Ikeman and Aaron Howard, HERE!

With poignant lyrics like how could I try to erase the curves and the lines my grandmothers gave me, I’m trying to fully embrace the way my hips resemble the landscape, “Rocky Mountains” describes the journey to self-acceptance, which many listeners are sure to relate to.

“I’ve been in eating disorder recovery for a long time, but I recently realized there was a missing piece: fully accepting my body no matter what it looked like or how it changed,” Amber explains. “It’s really hard to do that in a world that’s always telling women to be smaller and not take up too much space. But, something clicked when I was on a songwriting retreat in Idaho in 2021 – I woke up one morning and looked at myself in the mirror, and then at the mountains outside, noticing the similarities. It brought me so much peace. I started free-writing about it, which turned into this song. It helped me appreciate the things about my body that beauty standards often deem flawed.”

About Amber Ikeman:
Nashville-based songstress Amber Ikeman delivers empowering, heart-melting folk/pop. Called “a storyteller who embraces emotional tales” (Jolene: The Country Music Blog), Amber leaves audiences “deeply moved…she tugs at your soul like not many artists can” (Analucia Lopezrevoredo, Moishe House San Francisco). Images from the deserts and mountains she’s hiked or driven through give a living backdrop to her lyrics of resilience, self-discovery, body acceptance, mental health, and women’s issues. By turns gritty and inspired, peaceful and powerful, Amber’s award-winning songs invite fellow free spirits to explore life beyond convention and expectations. She has toured all over the U.S. and Canada, and her third album will be released in early 2023.

COUNTRY SINGER CHANCE MOORE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “A LITTLE BIT OF MISSIN’ YOU”

Nashville, TN (September 23, 2022) – Country music singer/songwriter and Mississippi native Chance Moore recently released his new single called “A Little Bit of Missin’ You.” You can listen to the song HERE!

With tender lyrics like I’ll do what I have to do, to spend my life loving you, “A Little Bit of Missin’ You” brings a traditional country style, combined with Chance’s smooth, strong baritone.

“The past few years, I let a whole lot of things distract me from my dream of music,” Chance explains. “I put it on the back burner and just worked all the time.  Though my business has become a success, music has been there constantly tugging at my heart, not wanting me to let go.  And, if I’ve realized one thing, it’s that if you try to run from what you’re meant to do in life, you’ll be miserable everyday of it.  Now, I plan on running the right direction.”

About Chance Moore:
From the time he was just a kid, Chance fell in love with country music. He grew up listening to his heroes in the 90’s, like George Strait, Alan Jackson and Randy Travis – but, the first time he heard Hank Williams, he was hooked. “I remember it like it was yesterday,” he said. “I was at the local drugstore in my hometown and saw one of Hank’s albums in there.  I talked my grandpa into carrying me back to buy it. I was mesmerized by how Hank could make you feel exactly what he was feeling through his songs. So, not long after, I bought another one, and another, and then another one.”

As time went on and he moved off to college, he began to dig into songwriting. After college and over the next several years, Chance worked different jobs to get by as he honed his craft for singing. It was just a few years ago that Chance decided that if a career in music is what he wanted, then it was time to pick himself up and get after it.

Chance started singing for the first time in church. As time went on, Chance moved off to college and worked different jobs to get by as he honed his craft for singing. “I knew in my heart I wanted to pursue music, but another part of me knew that I needed to take the time to hone my craft.” He began digging into the music of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. “It really stood out me the smoothness of Merle’s delivery and how you could understand every word he sang.  And, I was really impressed with the power and depth of Waylon’s voice…so, I think I found my space somewhere in between.”

Soon, Chance started making frequent trips to Nashville. It was there that, through a friend, he met Chris Latham – a Grammy winning producer – and together they produced Chance’s self-titled debut EP.  Chance is also a writer himself, penning the last song on the album. “It was one of the first country songs I wrote, and it sums up who I am as a whole. I really enjoy song writing, and I look forward to recording more original material in the future,” he said.

Chance has opened for country music superstars like T. Graham Brown, Diamond Rio, The Kentucky Headhunters, and James Otto. Many miles, late nights, and struggles have brought Chance to this point in his career. “I am anxious for what the future holds and ready for wherever the music takes me. If you like traditional country, then look no further!”

JUSTINE BLAZER RELEASES OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “NEVER GET AWAY”

Nashville, TN (September 21, 2022) – Blues singer/songwriter, producer and recording artist Justine Blazer recently released the official music video for “Never Get Away (Ft. Natalie Jean, Kitt Wakeley and Kerry Adams).” You can watch the video HERE!

“Never Get Away” is the current single off of Justine’s hit new album “Girl Singing the Blues.” The record reached #1 on the iTunes’Top 100 Blues Albums chart, #1 on Amazon’s Best Selling Vocal Blues Albums chart and #1 on Amazon’s New Releases in Vocal Blues chart. You can download the single HERE!

“This song is a rockin’, bluesy anthem written by Lou Molitch and I,” Justine explains. “It’s about ‘us musicians’ having a love/hate relationship with the music industry. This song features Natalie Jean on vocals, Kitt Wakeley on piano and Kerry Adams on guitar. We love the music-making part and hate the industry aspect…but in the end, we can never get away.”

She continues, “We filmed this video in Printers Alley in downtown Nashville. Even when our videographer, Mexx Heart, was filming, we experienced what this entire song embodies! From getting yelled at by residents because ‘the music was too loud,’ to patrons mocking us – we experienced it all.  In the video, we tried to display four examples of some things we deal with on a regular basis: asking us to play for free and for exposure only, men trying to grab at us while we’re trying to head to a show, showing up to find the venue is closed, and having people making fun of us.  But, we love the music and have that passion. I hope people see the energy in this video and dig the song!”

The album has been receiving rave reviews from fans, radio and press, and has been featured in publications like Billboard Magazine, Spinex Music, Broadway World, Nash in Tune, The Sounds Won’t Stop and more. She was also featured on the cover of Lazie Indie Music Magazine‘s August edition.
