KENDRA & THE BUNNIES GOES POP WITH RELEASE OF NEW ALBUM “of marigolds and lightning bugs”

Nashville, TN (May 13, 2022) – Multi-talented recording artist Kendra & the Bunnies recently released her new album, of marigolds and lightning bugs, and she’s dipping her toes into the pop genre! “The themes of the album are strength, charisma and resilience,” Kendra explains. She released the hit single born to be happy always in February of 2022, which has received more than six million song views and almost one million views with her viral social media campaign, the #borntobehappychallenge. She subsequently released I Took Route 66on April 8, 2022, also gaining positive feedback from fans.

Showcasing her hard work and dedication for the industry, Kendra is also nominated for three Josie Music Awards: Best Artist of the Year (Pop), Music Video of the Year(“Passion Roulette” directed by Justine Blazer and co-written by Kendra Muecke, Mark Roma and Justine Blazer) and Best Performance in a Music Video (“born to be happy always“). KENDRA & THE BUNNIES RELEASES NEW SINGLE “born to be happy always”

Nashville, TN (February 4, 2022) – Multi-talented Folk/Pop artist Kendra Mueckeof Kendra & the Bunnies is back with another new single called “born to be happy always.” You can listen to the song HERE!

“born to be happy always is written from my perspective as a musician who travels often,” Kendra explains. “I have realized many times on the road that it is for a certain type of person. It’s for the type who is up to risk it all to get that which they desire.”

Kendra’s upbeat and bubbly personality shines through her new single, with lyrics like not looking for the sun anymore, it’s been right here all around me, dropping crumbs and whispering nonchalantly.

Kendra & the Bunnies is set to release an upcoming album called of marigolds & lightning bugs this March. While in the studio finalizing the last tracks for this album, the news about Gabby Petito‘s disappearance, and subsequent murder, was on every television station. Therefore, this album has a very special place in Kendra’s heart and she will be donating a portion of the proceeds to NIWRC (National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center).

With energetic lyrics like kick up the tempo and let it drive, I want my FM dose of adrenaline, too many slow songs killing my vibe, “Who Wants to Rock with Me” (co-written with Randy Barnette, Justine Blazer and Corey Lee Barker) has become a fan-favorite hit from the Kendra & the Bunnies “of Summer” EP.

“The thing about dreams is only you know when your’s comes true,” Kendra explains. “I feel like having people stop me while I was filming this music video in Nashville to ask for a photo with me means my dreams are coming true.”
