ALISHA PACE RELEASES “THE BROKEN HEART COLLECTION”

Nashville, TN (December 4, 2020) – Country sweetheart and singer/songwriter Alisha Pace recently released her newest three-song project, “The Broken Heart Collection.” You can listen HERE!

“This collection of songs is meant to be a sort of therapy for anyone out there who’s loved and lost, and longs to love again,” Alisha explains.

Single is a song about the state of singleness and all that comes with it, including not being able to split the Uber cost and the slow conversation when it’s just you and the waiter. When It Was Love is a song reminiscing about the memories you’re left with when you used to know someone – the type of loss experienced when you notice the smell of their shampoo’s left your pillow, but you still remember when it was love. 365 (Not Thinkin’ Bout You) is a New Year’s Eve tune about the girl who doesn’t get the guy – and still decides that’s okay – because, even if he was with her, she’d still be all alone. You can now find her embracing a new year and a clean slate.”

About Alisha Pace:

Born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, Alisha Pace is all about embracing the “sweet” things in life. Her music brings the sounds of country and pop together to tell stories of love, life, and not letting anything get ya down while you’re discovering who you are. After graduating from Baylor University in 2016 with a degree in Professional Sales, Alisha moved to Nashville and has had a variety of unique job roles while also pursuing her music career; including being a karaoke host, selling dumpsters for Waste Management, and getting people out of timeshares. ABBY LINDSEY RELEASES OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “SHE KNEW BETTER”

Nashville, TN (November 24, 2020) – Country singer/songwriter Abby Lindsey just released her official music video for her debut single “She Knew Better.” You can watch the video HERE!

With regretful lyrics like bet she knows how to open up, and not hold back when she falls in love, she knew what she wanted and how to get it, and I sure didn’t, “She Knew Better” tells a relatable love story that is sure to tug on heartstrings.

“I have very vivid memories of the late 90s when I would camp out in front of the TV and binge watch CMT and GAC music videos until my parents had to drag me away,” Abby reminisces. “Never in a million years did I think I’d get to make one! Music videos have always been such an inspiring and thought provoking escape for me. I hope my video allows some other little girl or boy to realize they can do anything they put their mind to – no matter what it is.”

About Abby Lindsey:

Abby Lindsey is a singer/songwriter born and raised in the valley of the Ozark Mountains in Van Buren, AR. Being a native of the south, she was no stranger to the good ole country classics like LeAnn Rimes, Randy Travis, Trisha Yearwood and Jo Dee Messina, which would come to inspire her dream to be in country music.

She grew up singing in her church, pageants, ballgames, and hometown events. She was even an All-Region choir member in her high school, but nothing satisfied her hunger for more with music. She decided to pack up everything she could fit in her Jeep and head to Music City — and as Jo De Messina says the rear view mirror torn off, and I ain’t ever looking back, and that’s a fact – and that’s exactly what Abby did.

Abby moved to Nashville with $50 in her pocket and lived in the pool house of the family she nannied for before finally getting on her feet and establishing a name for herself in town. Now she calls East Nashville home and continues to immerse herself into all of the magical and creative things Nashville has to offer.

MISTY DAWN RELEASES NEW SINGLE “WEEPING WILLOW”

Nashville, TN (November 20, 2020) – Show Country singer/songwriter Misty Dawnrecently released her new single “Weeping Willow.” You can listen to the song HERE!

With sassy lyrics like I’m not the kind of gal who’ll settle down, won’t find me in some big white fancy gown, your heart’s the bleedin’, pleadin’, cryin’ kind, and that don’t match the way I like to handle mine, “Weeping Willow” is sure to be the female-empowerment anthem of the season.

“Let’s normalize men crying/pining over women and women being the non-committal, flippant one in the relationship dynamic,” Misty says. “That’s just as true as the other way around. I wanted a country anthem for women who don’t want to get married, who want to be intimate without serious attachment, etc. Even though I personally do want those things, I don’t think it should be a given and we have to be open to different narratives about how we operate in partnership. This is secretly my favorite song on the EP because it has a bit of a funk vibe to it, too!”

About Misty Dawn:
Say goodbye to Bro-Country and hello to SHOW COUNTRY. Since the age of six, Texas native Misty Dawn has been performing in professional theatre and television productions. From hosting a video game review show on TV to being one of the puppet-artists-in-residence at St. Anne’s Warehouse for a season, Misty has a knack for exploring the art of storytelling. With a Theatre degree, several off-Broadway productions, and a few international tours under her belt, it’s no surprise that’s she’s infused her theatrical upbringing into her music. In fact, she’s calling her unique brand of country Show Countryas it mixes elements of musical theatre, soul country, outlaw country and Americana into her music. While her sound harkens back to a classic country era and she looks to join the ranks of the Ameripolitan crowd, her message is anything but traditional. Misty takes a no-nonsense approach to re-writing the topics women typically sing about with songs about traditional female roles, poking at the holes in religious and political establishments, and embracing a brazen, sexually empowered version of a woman.

While early influences include RebaCrystal GayleShania Twain and Jo Dee Messina, Misty looks to artists like Margo PriceKacey Musgraves and Brandi Carlile as beacons.

Misty’s current project, Mountains, is her first project as a solo artist. Previously, she’s vocally supported NYC artists Matt Singer and Jay Mankind on their albums and performing alongside them at classic NYC spots like RockwoodUnion Hall and Pianos. She also lends her vocal harmonies to Denver artist Daryl Purpose on his upcoming album. She wrote the titular track in honor of her father, Gary who is no longer on this Earth but who passed on his love of the mountains and his love of singing to Misty.

MISTY DAWN RELEASES NEW SINGLE “BLESS YOUR HEART”

Nashville, TN (October 23, 2020) – Show Country singer/songwriter Misty Dawn recently released her new single, “Bless Your Heart.” You can listen to the song HERE!

“Bless Your Heart” delves into Misty Dawn’s sassy side with lyrics like you can preach a verse or two and say I’m gonna pray for you, and pull your sweater tighter when I leave the room.

Oh honey, bless your heart. If you’ve ever heard this saying before, you know it’s not necessarily nice,” Misty Dawn explains. “Southerns have a particular brand of being passive-aggressive and this saying is one of them! I wanted to write a song that flipped the script on the Judge-y McJudgersons. I really love this song too because it’s sort of an anthem for the modern woman who doesn’t want to fit into the norms of what society expects.”

JENNIFER LAUREN RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE

Nashville, TN (October 16, 2020) – Colorado-bred singer/songwriter Jennifer Laurenrecently released her debut single, “I Like Your Jeans.” You can listen to the song HERE!

With sassy, but honest, lyrics like I like your jeans, I like my floor littered with them, I like your eyes held on me, she’s got ya now, she doesn’t get your true preference, you like more than it seems Jennifer Lauren explores the familiar love triangle from a new perspective – the potential partner who just won’t be chosen because they don’t meet the societal expectation of beauty, sexual orientation or culture. You can watch the official music video HERE!

I Like Your Jeans started as a joke among my girlfriends, but it grew into a bigger conversation about whether or not women should make the first move when they meet a man that they’re attracted to,” Jennifer explains. “I realized that I had never once hit on a stranger like that and I really wanted to get to the bottom of why. As I processed, I remembered an old boyfriend who told me he just couldn’t move forward with me because his friends and family would never let him live down being with a fat girl. It broke my heart and it definitely affected my confidence. Realizing my fear of rejection, I wrote the song and found a sort of liberation…which led me to actually record the song and try to capture the lesson.”

About Jennifer Lauren:
Jennifer Lauren’s obsession with singing began as a way to entertain and comfort herself during the stretches of time that she was away from her Mom, who enlisted in the Air Force as a teenager during the 70’s. A tenacious survivor by nature, Jennifer was raised primarily by an unbelievably courageous African American/German Mom and, eventually, also by a wonderfully patient and steadfast Mexican American Dad. She was fueled by her multicultural family and absorbed a broad selection of genres that included everything from world beats to worship.

For the last ten years, Jennifer has been honing her craft as a bandleader, vocalist, and memorable performer in the idyllic lands of Fort Collins, Colorado. There, she was a well-known and respected live performer, dedicated to keeping the sounds of R&B/Soul alive in her community – where it was a very uncommon genre. For that reason, Jennifer Lauren founded a music collective called Soul Revival that welcomed and encouraged musicians and performers of all varieties to express themselves through soulful music, dance, comedy and poetry. Her monthly tribute shows to great soul singers like Etta JamesAretha Franklin and Nina Simone were consistently sold out. Soul Revival was nominated for a PEER Award by FoCoMA and Jennifer received 2nd place awards in two categories during the 2019 FoCo Fringe Fest for her original co-production of Stronger Than Me, an expose’ styled musical that revealed the depth of Amy Winehouse‘s brilliance through the songs she wrote and loved.

Now new to Nashville, Jennifer Lauren is working on her first album and, for the first time, is creating her own original music that honors both her multicultural ancestry and her deep love for soulful storytelling. Her first single was released independently on October 1, 2020 and will be followed by her second single in November of 2020.
